A Place to Sell Your Equipment and Get Repairs. At the '98 Dayton hamfest, a guy bought a big plotter from K2JV. Barry brought it back to NJ for him since he was flying. The guy was Hal Guretzky who is in the business of buying and selling used electronic equiplent. His company is Land Air Communications, and he is a Kachina dealer as well as an authorized repair shop for Icom, Jesu and Kenwood. Barry (who visited him in Brooklyn) says that he has all the test equipment needed for repairs. He is at 95-15 108th St., Richmond Hill, NY 11419 and the 'phone number is 718-847-3090. He is very pleasant to deal with and seems to pay a reasonable amount for used equipment. If you describe your item over the 'phone, he will quote a price that he is willing to pay or you can make an appointment and take the stuff in your car to Brooklyn for a quote. It seems very handy to be able to avoid shipping boat anchors by transporting them by car.
