NPARC Email Reflector

The Club's email reflectors are a way for a subscribing member to send a message to all other subscribers. We use them to:

* announce club meetings and other activities
* ask for information or help on radio related topics
* share information or interesting radio related discoveries
* post "wanted" and "for sale" items
* conduct group discussions

The club now has two email reflectors available to club members, one on QTH.Net and one in Yahoo! Groups.

bulletQTH.Net - This is the club's original reflector and it remains the primary email reflector for club announcements and other messages. It is hosted by a non-profit ham radio group called QSL/QTH.Net, which also hosts the Club's web site (the club sends an annual donation to QSL/QTH to help finance both). Unlike the Yahoo! Groups reflector (below), it is free of all commercial advertising, but it also has less features than Yahoo! Groups. For example, you can not use QTH.Net to send an email with HTML content or an attachment.

Our goal is to have every club member subscribe to the QTH reflector, so that we can share important club news quickly and easily.

To learn more and/or to join, go to the QTH Info page.

bulletYahoo! Groups - This is the club's supplementary reflector and it has additional services not available with the QTH.net reflector. For example, members can upload documents and photos to the Group library -- no waiting for the webmaster to post them on the club web site.

Yahoo! Groups' services are free to the club, however, members receive commercials when they visit the NPARC Yahoo! Group web page.

To learn more and/or to join, go to the Yahoo Groups Info page.

Note: Both reflectors are restricted to NPARC members in order to avoid unsolicited commercial postings (spam).
