2006 Class F Station Results

June 29, 2006

The F-station had 779 QSOs, which is up about 10% from last year.  However, our bonus points are down, so the total score will be slightly lower than last year.  Hopefully, we will be somewhere in the top 5 in our class.

The F-station worked 45 states.  The only states that we did not work were AK, HI, WA, NM, and ND.  I don't know why we didn't work WA.  Perhaps it has something to do with our radiation pattern.  We also worked PR and VI.

Below are six very cool charts.  Please bear in mind that the station was off the air on Saturday afternoon for about 45 minutes due to the close lightning strike.  But, we were doing so well that this is hard to see in the data.

Many thanks to all who participated in the Field Day effort.

73,
